The SMART line consists of versatile pots and frying pans that are safe for health and perfect for small kitchens and kitchenettes. The use of a detachable handle saves space in the dishwasher, while the ability to stack the cookware saves up to 50% of space in the cupboard. SMART cookware is suitable for cooking, frying, baking, serving dishes and even storing food.

SMART cookware features one of the best ceramic coatings currently available on the market, Ilag Xera Dur 2® Ceramic Non Stick. It has two layers: a top layer of Xerogel with a metallic effect and a ceramic-reinforced base layer with Xerogel to prevent cracking. In addition to excellent abrasion resistance, the coating has special properties that prevent food from sticking to the surface and burning.

The four-layer base with a stainless steel disc conducts heat perfectly and evenly, making food preparation simple and quick.

With users’ health in mind, the pots and frying pans do not contain harmful substances (PTFE, PFOA, cadmium, lead). In addition, the exceptionally smooth and sealed ILAG ceramic coating is easy to keep clean.

The cookware is suitable for use on all types of hobs: electric, gas, ceramic, induction, as well as in the oven. The cookware can be washed in dishwashers; however, due to the chemicals used in them and the high pressure, this is not recommended.

SMART lids are made of tempered glass, making them resistant to temperature changes. They have also been equipped with a steam vent, which releases excess steam from inside the cookware. The lid handle is very comfortable – it does not heat up and is safe to use.

The Gerlach SMART handle can withstand loads of up to 6 kg.

The SMART cookware line has a certificate from the National Institute of Hygiene.
