Yes, all Gerlach cutlery can be washed in the dishwasher. They are made of 18/10 stainless steel, so they are resistant to the destructive effects of corrosion. After washing in the dishwasher, we recommend wiping them dry with a cloth.

However, it is important to remember that to keep them in the best possible condition for a long time, it is worth washing them by hand using soft sponges. Strong cleaning agents and the dishwasher washing process itself can cause discoloration and scratching of the steel.

Not all pots and pans are suitable for use in the oven. It depends on the materials from which the individual utensils are made. The relevant information can be found in the infographic displayed on the packaging of each product or embossed on it.

Pots and pans from Gerlach are suitable for use on all types of stoves: gas, electric, induction, and ceramic. The only exception are the pans from the First line, which are not suitable for use on an induction stove.

To place an order with engraving, you need to visit our website at www.gerlach.pl, adding the product available for engraving to the cart. When placing the order, you will be able to choose the font and the intensity of the engraving in the initial stage. The actual content of the engraving is provided in the 3rd step of the ordering process.

Our cutlery is made entirely of 18/10 stainless steel, so the engraving service should not have an impact on the occurrence of corrosion.

For kitchen tasks, we recommend Gerlach kitchen accessories from the Natur line, which are perfect for cooking in pots and frying in pans, as they do not scratch the surfaces or coatings of kitchen utensils. It is not recommended to use metal tools that can irreversibly damage the surfaces of pots and pans.

The surface of the pan should be carefully cleaned after each use. Before cleaning, always let the cookware cool down, as large temperature fluctuations can cause permanent deformations. Use warm water, the soft side of a sponge, or a soft, nylon brush for washing. To remove food residue and grease, do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents (e.g. cleaning paste). It is worth noting that such detergents, when used in dishwashers, can lead to scratching and damaging the coating. It is recommended to hand wash pans with ceramic coating.

If light stains appear on the bottom of pots, remove them using citric acid or vinegar. If the stains are dark, use a stainless steel cleaner. The buildup on the pots is a result of mineral deposits from the water and is completely harmless.

Yes, individual pots are also available in our offer.

Royal Ivory Porcelain is made from natural, vegan materials of European origin: kaolins, feldspars, and quartz. It is thanks to this that Royal Ivory Porcelain has its characteristic ivory hue and a uniform color, free from discoloration. The outer layer of the dishes is covered with a durable, colorless glaze.

Royal Ivory Porcelain can be cleaned in a dishwasher. It has a hardness level of 5 on the Mohs scale, which ensures its high durability. However, it is important to keep in mind that mechanical cleaning is not very gentle. Therefore, if you want to extend the lifespan of the porcelain, clean it by hand using a soft sponge.

Hand-cleaning porcelain is really simple due to its low level of material absorbency. This prevents dirt from penetrating the dishes, as it only accumulates on the surface without causing permanent discoloration. A gentle wipe with a sponge soaked in detergent, followed by rinsing, is enough to clean the porcelain. In the case of dried-on dirt, it is worth soaking the dishes first.

Royal Ivory Porcelain is suitable for use in the microwave and oven.

It is resistant to thermal shock due to high-temperature firing. Therefore, you can use it in the oven up to 220℃. Please note, the porcelain should have room temperature (around 20-22℃) before placing it in the oven. Do not put the porcelain directly from the freezer.

Royal Ivory Porcelain can be used in the freezer up to -30℃. This allows you to store leftovers, for example, without the need to dirty other dishes.

Attention, do not put chilled porcelain in a preheated oven! Wait until it reaches room temperature.

Royal Ivory Porcelain is made only from natural, vegan ingredients, such as kaolin, feldspar, and quartz. It does not contain any harmful substances, and the materials used do not react with acids, making it safe for health.

Furthermore, Royal Ivory Porcelain is hygienic to use. It has a low level of absorbency, which means that dirt does not penetrate the dishes. Therefore, it can also be used in professional conditions.

The Royal Ivory Porcelain warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

• improper use and failure to comply with the conditions of use;

• self-inflicted damages such as scratches or chips;

• cracks caused by dropping;

• using sharp tools on the surface of the tableware;

• failure to comply with the recommended operating temperature;

• continued use of the product after discovering a defect in it;

• repairs carried out outside of Gerlach S.A.;

• improper use not in accordance with the recommendations on the packaging.
