Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna in oil
- 3 slices of dried tomatoes in oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 5 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to prepare Italian tuna paste?
Drain the tuna. Rinse the basil leaves under running water. Peel the garlic and press it through the press, eg SOLID.
Put the tuna in a bowl. Add sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, lemon juice, fresh basil and butter to it. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper (we recommend NATUR salt shaker and pepper mill).
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Italian tuna paste tastes best with fresh, crispy bread.
