Ingredients:
- 500 g of potatoes
- 8 small apricots
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup of wheat flour
- Pinch of salt
- Flour (for the pastry board)
How to make knedle with apricots?
Wash the potatoes well, peel them and boil them in salted water (try to use PRIME pots).
Wash the apricots, cut them gently and remove the seeds. It is important that the fruit does not fall apart.
Drain the boiled potatoes and squeeze through the press.
Add the egg and flour to the cooled potatoes, then mix all ingredients.
Knead the dough on a floured board and form a rolling pin.
Cut it into 8 equal slices (it is worth using sharp knives, eg LOFT). Place one apricot on each of them. Place the edges together and form a ball.
Put the prepared dumplings with apricots in boiling water and cook for 12 minutes.
After this time, remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate (we recommend porcelain dinner sets).
Apricot dumplings taste best when served hot.
