Ingredients:
- 1 cup of dry chickpeas
- 1 cup light tahini paste
- 1/3 cup of cold water
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion (optional)
- Chilli
- Salt pepper
How to make hummus?
Put dry chickpeas in a pot, pour water and soak overnight.
After this time, drain the excess water and rinse (we recommend PRESTIGE PLUS pots, which are equipped with a drainage system with two types of strainers in the lids).
Pour fresh water over the chickpeas, add a teaspoon of salt, and cook for an hour from the moment the water boils.
Drain the water again and rinse the chickpeas.
Put the chickpeas in a dish, add the tahini paste, salt, pepper, chilli, garlic and fried onion, then blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
While blending, you can gradually add cold water.
Put the finished hummus into a decorative vessel (e.g. made of porcelain) and serve with fresh bread or pita bread.
