Ingredients
- 400 g of bananas
- 230 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of cane sugar
- ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
How to make a banana cake?
Preheat oven to 180°C. Put the flour in a bowl, add nutmeg, sugar, a pinch of salt and diced butter. Mix everything thoroughly so that a homogeneous mass is formed.
Beat the eggs together with the vanilla extract, then combine it with the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Wash the banana, peel it, mash it and add to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.
Prepare a baking tin, put in paper (if you use silicone molds, it will not be necessary as the dough does not stick to the sides). Put the mass into it and put the form in the oven. Bake for about an hour until golden.
After removing from the oven, let the pan with the dough cool down for about 20 minutes. Turn it upside down and remove the finished banana cake. When it is at room temperature, you can slice it.
