Ingredients:
- 230 g Mexican queso oaxaca cheese (if you fail to get such cheese, you can replace it with mozzarella)
- 180 ml of tomato salsa
- 2 spring onions
- Chives
- 6 tortilla
How to prepare a Mexican cheese appetizer with salsa and tortillas?
Cut the cheese into thick slices (we recommend SMART BLACK knives for cutting) and place it on the bottom of small ovenware.
Then sprinkle them with tomato salsa to cover them completely. Preheat the oven to 200℃ and put the prepared appetizer in it.
While baking, heat up a frying pan, for example MONOLIT 28 cm, and heat the tortilla on it (without using oil). From time to time, you can sprinkle them gently with water so that they do not dry out.
When the cheese is melted and lightly browned, you can remove the appetizer from the oven.
Sprinkle the snack with chopped spring onion and chives. The Mexican cheese appetizer with salsa goes best with warm tortillas.
