Spring salads
Spring salads are above all light, healthy, and give energy for a few next hours. Try an exotic salad with shripms – the combination of soy sauce, sprouts, garlic, olive oil, sugar peas and lemongrass. If you serve such a salad at the party, it will certainly surprise invited guests. For those who do not like too much extravagance in the kitchen, we recommend a spring, colorful salad based on lamb's lettuce, tomatoes, Greek type cheese, sunflower seeds, toasts, olive oil and white wine vinegar.
For cutting many ingredients when making a salad, remember to have an ergonomic, well balanced and sharp knife, especially we recommend a special vegetable knife – you can cut tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, onions or even sweet potatoes really fast.
It’s time for soup!
Nettle, which is associated with the medicine of our grandparents against reomatism, may be a great ingredient for making spring soup. Go to the garden or park to pick a bunch of nettle leaves. Remember to gather as much young nettle leaves as possible, preferably the finer ones because the peak leaves are the most nutritious. At home, parboil the nettle to get rid of microorganisms. Then, take a medium-sized pot, pour water and add laurel leaves, allspice, garlic, salt and vegetables (carrots and potatoes). Boil the water, reduce the heat and cook for one hour. In the meantime, fry onion and nettle on a frying pan, then put them into a ready brew, stir and season with salt, pepper and marjoram. You can also blend all the ingredients until smooth, and serve every portion of cream soup with an extra spoon of yogurt on top.
Crunchy and delicate vegetable tarts
Tarts have a lot of admirers because you can make them with almost everything you want. Especially, we recommend vegetables tarts, for example, a tart with beetroot, smoked salmon and feta cheese, a tart with zucchini, cheese and rucola, a tart with baked aubergine and chilli or a tart with delicate sweet beetroot. As you see, there are a lot of ways to create your perfect tart. Remember to have some helpful kitchen accessories which make cooking easier - a silicone spatula or a wooden spoon.
